BOURBONNAIS – State Senator Patrick Joyce (D-Essex) invites residents to ask questions and get assistance with state matters at his Coffee, Conversation and Constituent Services event on Saturday, July 31 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Starbucks, located at 532 Main St. NW in Bourbonnais.
“This is a great opportunity for the residents of Bourbonnais and surrounding communities to enjoy a cup of coffee while having a conversation about what’s happening in state government, or to simply bring an issue to my attention,” Joyce said. “I look forward to having a casual conversation with those who are available to join me.”
Community members are welcome to stop by Starbucks to work with the senator’s staff and receive assistance with different services. Attendees can receive help with FOID cards applications, unemployment and much more.

SOUTH WILMINGTON – Motorists who have been unable to visit a driver services facility to renew their driver’s licenses and purchase vehicle stickers will be able to attend a free mobile unit event, sponsored by State Senator Patrick Joyce (D-Essex) in partnership with the secretary of state’s office.
“The mobile unit makes it easier for folks to receive necessary services without waiting for long periods of time outside a driver services facility,” Joyce said. “I encourage anyone in need of a safe and convenient way to renew and pay fees to attend this upcoming event.”

SOUTH WILMINGTON – In partnership with the secretary of state’s office, State Senator Patrick Joyce is sponsoring a free mobile unit event for motorists who have been unable to visit a driver services facility to renew their driver’s licenses and purchase vehicle stickers.
The free event will be available to motorists Tuesday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Wilmington Village Hall, located at 380 Lake St. in South Wilmington.
“The pandemic has made it extremely difficult for people to take advantage of state services, including at driver services facilities,” Joyce said. “This mobile unit event will make it easier for folks to receive necessary services without waiting for long periods of time.”
The unit operates like a DMV office and offers driver’s license renewals, identification cards and license plate stickers. Attendees must wear face coverings, and social distancing rules must be followed.
